I had to share Robert Kiyosaki’s eye opening video about the advice a rich man versus a poor man would give his children.

OMG! What advice did your parents give you?

I can’t believe how we have been brainwashed into our beliefs! And yet… it was done with love!

First… where do you fit in the Employee/Self Employed/Big Business/Investors diagram?

I grew up with self-employed parents who owned 2 businesses. And our family worked hard, really hard to keep those business going!

Being dragged out of bed before the sun came up so I could work an hour or two before I went to school was a common occurrence for me. And working till 7 or 8 in the evening and then doing my homework was the norm.

What did my parents teach me to do? … go to college, make good grades, get a high paying job, work hard, save money, don’t over spent, stay out of debt, have a good retirement plan.

Boy, did Robert Kiyosaki’s words shake me to my very core! I could feel the stab to my heart as real as if it actually happened! I’ve been living a lie all my life and I didn’t even know it!

My parents lived in the struggle for survival life style all their lives and taught their children the only thing they knew! But that was all that existed before the computer. You didn’t dream about owning a corporation or being an entrepreneur… you dreamed about getting a good job and hopefully living the American dream of 2 1/2 children, 2 cars, a nice house and a Disney vacation!

But… according to Mr. Kiyosaki and others…. the American dream, as we knew it, is dead and trying to hold on to it will drown us quicker than a whirlpool sucking everything into it’s vortex!

What can we do?

Entrepreneur was a word I didn’t even use until a couple of months ago. It was a word that created images of an altered reality where lucky & specially talented people existed. They had amazing powers to be successful that exceeded way beyond my grasp and abilities so alien to myself that I knew I can never be an entrepreneur.

As I watched the video, it was as if a light was switched on inside me, as I began to understand what  Mr. Kiyosaki was saying. I guess you could call it an awakening, similar to what it must be like to see for the first time.

We are in a NEW era of the birthing of amazing technology that is changing how we see & function in the world, lightning fast computers that continue to astound us and startling accomplishments by average people. Emphasis is on Massive CHANGE in all areas of our lives for us to survive!

This birthing of the Entrepreneur Era is happening NOW!

For us to thrive in this entrepreneur era… we must embrace the entrepreneur way of life. Selling our products online will become the norm, rather than the exception. Have’nt you heard it said that information is the ‘new’ product to sell?

Well, it’s true! The faster times change… the more people need to stay informed! And the more need there is for a community to exist to help each other in these changing times.

I love how Mr. Kiyosaki simplified and explained the possibilities that are being offered to each one of us if we take advantage of the new opportunities being created by this NEW AGE of Technology.

Of course there is resistance…I have friends who don’t even own a computer or barely can use one.  And there are others who see the internet as a past time for entertainment. They will not be able to see the opportunities knocking on the door.

Those who embrace this Entrepreneur Era and explore a new form of business in this information age can expect to reap unlimited success and wealth. But the most prized possession the internet entrepreneur will receive is the choice of Freedom to live how they want, where they want and do what they want!
