Glass Hydrangea flower bead
Want to know how I made these glass hydrangeas flowers in the above pendant? I used the exact hydrangea I taught in Tutorial 104…Hydrangeas (Check it out here).
It’s the same bead in my Tutorial 104…
Where the Hydrangea glass flower came from?
It’s the 4th hydrangea flower I teach in my Hydrangea Tutorial 104. Actually, this blue hydrangea bead I used in the pendant necklace above IS the exact bead I created while writing my tutorial. I added glass head pin hydrangeas that I weaved around the glass lampwork hydrangea flowers bead.
My hydrangea glass flower head pins…
Want to know how I made my head pins?
I taught how to make them in a previous blog post. Check that tutorial out here.
These glass head pins where made for my fairy gardens. There’s lots of ways to use head pins!
Now, for the wire weaving of the ‘blue hydrangea’ glass necklace? Well, it’s called fine art wire weaving and it took me 2 months to complete the pendant. (I definitely need to get faster!) It’s an Art Nouveau inspired technique. And if you love Art Nouveau, you’ll love this look!

After I finished writing this article, I realized it was too long for one blog post!
Happy torching & beyond!
